I just moved houses =/ SIGHHH. I already miss Nono and Natnat. DEPRESSION. T_T I have so much stuff. Its not even funny.

Going home is nice. But mostly bittersweet. =/ Seriously. And then coming back is nice too. And then bittersweet. Hnnn. I need hugs. =S

My mother managed to chop off half her finger while cutting carrots. I will never look at carrots the same way. Ughhhh.

Okay. Two essays is no joke. I am starting to panic. Just sliggghhttlyy.

The Long Way Down

I should probably start on those two essays. Hehh.

I found out today that my essay is actually due next week Monday, and not the Monday after. BAH. So I have four submissions due next week.

3 month holiday. 3 month holiday. 3 month holiday. T___T *chant chant chant

House

I'm at season 5! =D And yes I really should've started watching House much earlier.

OMG. I have been trying to fall asleep for 3 hours. So. It is now 3AM, and i'm sitting in front of the laptop, doing work. I now know that coffee affects me. Hoozah. Or that the mountain of work wouldn't let my mind rest enough to slip into slumber. So yes. Insomnia ftw. *headbang.

Tomorrow night. I'm going to konk out like a sedated horse. Hurr. Assuming I get all the work done. Oh how I envy you heavy sleepers. (That's you Jaryl) T_T. Next week I have two presentations to give, and a quiz to do. . . Which doesn't sound all too bad. But the week after I have . . . three submissions. Then the week after that another two more submissions. OH GOSH. Sometimes I wished I failed college so I could redo it and not have to put up with the mountains of uni homework. =/

I love the weather today =]

Yesterday was really warm going at 30 degrees. I know. Its normal in M'sia =] I haven't forgotten. But today it has dropped by 7 degrees =D! And the sky is relatively grey/cloudy. And the breeze is cool. Today is the perfect kind of day to listen to Norah Jones, drink a cup of coffee, snuggle with the blanket and read a book, and basically just laze around and do nothing. It feels like Genting =) I am happehh/content. (Even though I have a mountain of work to get through) *cough.

Oh. And I am shifting houses! I am going to miss stoning out on my bed staring at the sky watching the clouds roll by. Yes. I spend time day dreaming. =)

I've finished reading it! And am now depressed. Big sigh. Okay it was a more, "BAAAAHHH! NOOOO *headbang" kind of moment. Like when your favourite series has ended. Or something. After five hundred pages you do tend to get attached to the imaginary people. *cough

That sounded rather sad. But its true. Heh. I need to find myself more Roman/Greek historical novels to read. Nothing but love for that era =] I really should get around to paying that library fine. Hurr.

The Robe

After reading five hundred and thirty two pages out of the five hundred and forty two pages of "The Robe", I have become incredibly depressed. I am going to finish this book in 10 pages. Sigh. I actually got the book back in 2008, and have only started reading and finished reading it now. And I wish I started earlier -> I would be able to have reread it ten times over by now. Yes. That good. There's even a movie about it =D To watch or not to watch?

I want more Lloyd C. Douglas books. HINT.

OMG the awesomeness. I got goosebumps =D

In the past whenever I spotted strangers with DSLRs, I would look at them, smirk/go pfft/scoff and proceed to pronounce them (in my mind) morons, wannabes, show offs, and some other derogatory noun. I know. It is terrible of me, and they aren't the things a person with a point and shoot camera should think of people with DSLRs. And yes I should not go around randomly judging people with DSLRs.

As fate would have it, I'm now doing photography in one of the units. And using a point and shoot is unacceptable if you want to get good marks. So! I now look like a moron/wannabe/tourist/show off/some other derogatory noun with a DSLR. Sigh. =) Karma. Life. Whatever you wanna call it. And yes. I have learned my lesson. =)

... But. I still think the wannabes look like morons. OOOPS. Peace =)

This post was just full of contradictions. Oh well.

We have to design sneakers for either Adidas or Nike for one of our projects. Check out this excerpt from one of the resources =D

Joleen's sendoff

On Sunday, Joleen left the land of Aus. Which was pretty depressing. But yeah. That Sunday was jammed packed to the max, filled with running around, arranging transport (well not me, but heh), getting gifts and the whole she-bang.

After a longer church service and an awesome lunch at Toto's, we dawdled in the carpark at Curtin mussing out transport. And! In the spirit of spontanaiety (probably spelled that wrong), we decided to get Joleen a going-away present. Then we went off to Harbortown and got these! And a shirt. Which had an elephant holding an umbrella under torrents of rain. It was cute. And the last shirt =] The shoes were plain and were only 5 bucks. I KID YOU NOT! FIVE BUCKS. From 25 dollars. So we bought acrylic paint and a gold pen and TADAHHH.

Actually once I got back from Harbortown, my friend was already waiting outside of my house to go to dinner. So ya. I was basically on my feet for the whole day. =] Tiring. But it felt good I guess. Then! Immediately after dinner, he had to send her dad off to the airport (they were on different flights, his at 9 and hers at 1 AM) which gave us a window of time to draw on the shoes, and sign the back of the shirt.

I thought the black tag would be a nice touch =] Heh.

OMG FIVE DOLLARS. YES I AM GETTING MORE TOMORROW. Heh heh heh.

This week has been insane. Hurr. SFAS is over =D YES! I'll post pictures...whenever I'm free. Okay. This week should be named "The-week-of-a-series-of-unfortunate-events."

During the week I

- stepped on yogurt

- scraped my arm (which now has an ugly red patch)

- have been waking up at 6/7 every morning *panda eyes

- had another person say, "Ni hao ma?" to me (and not an ang mou this time!)

and etc. =] Okay so its not that bad. But those events happened like one day after the next.

Anyway. In class, I have a friend that looks like a viera (sorta), the ice-truck killer from Dexter, Kristen Dunst, and a random lady I passed by that sort of looked like Natalie Portman. Yaaa. Pretty random.

Random question. At the risk of sounding incredibly stupid (which I will), couldn't God just have blasted Adam and Eve to smithereens since they messed up? Its not like anyone would know . =/ Why'd he even put the tree in the garden if he knew they'd take it? He could've just taken away free will and save everybody all the heartache =/. But I suppose that makes us boring. But we probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I guess God would know. Mm. Maybe God would get bored. Andddd if I continue I'd probably border on blasphemous and be shot to hell.

Last week we had a picnic at Matilda Bay on Sunday @UWA =] cos Curtin was having its open day.

Today was the first day of school! Or rather new semester. Anyway. This morning I deviated from my usual route and decided to walk through Canning to get to school instead. Its probably the longer way to do it but I was hoping I wouldn't run into people who would yell ," NI HAO!" while riding their bicycles and just random people yelling from their cars at me. You get the drift really.

All was going great. Had my mp3 plugged in, walking in stride to the music and yeah, I just felt good about the day and the decision to take the other way round. And then!

"EXCUSE ME! Do you know how to get to Leach Highway?!" says one Chinese lady from a car that just pulled over.

Headbang TTM.

I need a shirt that says, "I DON'T KNOW/STOP ASKING QUESTIONS/GO AWAY/LEAVE ME ALONE" etc etc. Big fat sigh.

Okay so the lady didn't really quite yell out. She spoke in a normal tone, but meh. Theatrics =]

Jeez. I always get hailed down by random people asking me questions/directions etc etc. Meh. Face problem. =.=

And later I went into the wrong class. I love myself.

Phoebe is home!! =D hurr. It was supposed to be a surprise for me. But it leaked out. Haha. Go figure.

OMG OMG OMG. I am buzzing with happiness. =D nyahaha. I can't wait to come home. TOFFEE CAKE PEOPLE. You know who you are.

Everybody please settle dates with P.A number 3, a.k.a the fantastic, capable, sighing brother or P.A's number 1 and 2, the capable, fantastic, hilarious followers a.k.a Jaryl and Lerry. . . But no. Seriously. They probably know more about my timetable than I do now. I can just imagine them all dressed up in business suits going, "Okay Boss, for the first week you have a dinner with Aunties, along with another dinner the next day with more relatives and XYZ etc abc.

Anyway! Psyched ttm =D There's so much stuff I wanna do. Cookie baking w/ the cell tomorrow! . . at 9.30 in the morning. Haha. Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked cookies in the morning really.

I have set a new record for sleeping in. Last Sunday, I woke up to 3 missed calls and 2 sms'es from the awesome Captain Yan Hua. At . . 12.15pm. If church had started at 10.30 that morning, I would've missed it completely. LUCKILY. It was scheduled to start at 2.30 for that Sunday. Phew. I know. I missed half the day. But meh. The previous day was spent running around Freo eating fish and chips and San churros with Jo and Geraldine, followed by standing on the entire train ride back to the city.

I am out of sugar! =/ Gasssppp. On a side note, I suck at making milo. Can a pro milo maker make milo for me when I get home please? Seriously. Aussie milo tastes funny. Or I just lack skills.

And no, its not an earring. Its a gap. I really had fun with this piece =D It took 10 minutes to draw and . . .longer to render. Due to . . . distractions. Hee. It was supposed to be a drawing to destress. And then I started spending too much time on it. Sigh ahh well =] It is A4 sized. Click for a bigger view ! =D

School has ended! But I still have on going assignments. Meh. I'm halfway done w/ the 300 page development work for the shtoopid logo. Rawr.

Sighhh. Three more InDesign projects to go. I want my holiday. Yawn.

I woke up at 5 AM to finish up a 1500 word essay. I have nothing but love for Engaging in the Humanities 100. Nothing. But. Love.

BLEGH.

The printing. Cost a bomb. T_T Marks this Friday! =D Omg omg omg. The canvases are about 18 by 20" ish. I wish I started on this sooner. Hurr. I wouldn't have panicked like a crazy person on the weekend before the exhibition, and wake up at 6 on the Saturday finish up, then head off to the printers at 2 to get it printed. Gassp.
