I think exams are great. =D My housemate gave me a super weird look when I said that. Like WHAT?! Ya. =] Because if yours are spaced out evenly, (and mine are) you have this tremendous amount of free time in between. . (which is supposed to be spent studying) haha. But yeah. The free time is awesome! Its like you're on a semi-holiday.

Next Plane Home

I really like the sounds planes make when the pass overhead. VOOOOOOOOM Haha. I was looking through my songs, and I found this! I haven't been listening to it for super long. And yeah, its one of my favourites. I somehow remembering posting this before =.= Or maybe its just me. . . Ahh well =]

Something along those lines =] This was taken on a Sunday, when we had to go to the school canteen and bake cookies, cakes and stuff for the following day. It was fun =D

Results

Okay so I had three tests last Monday. And I was seriously seriously studying throughout that week. And through all the blood, sweat and tears, (yes! tears!whoo) I passed all three of them!! Like oh my gosh man! I cannot believe it. I just surrendered it to God and whoo. It was awesome. I did very well for both history and economics and passed accounting! What more could I ask for. Our class apparently had a failing average for history, and the way Arthur Benko said it was sooo dissapointing. Scared the nonsense out of me. But whoo!! This definitely made my day.

So it was just after school ended that I was in the library, and Wit lyn found me. She was telling me that our house window had been broken, and that she had gotten a call from James. So both of us ran all the way back. And OMG Its abit hard to see in the pictures, but yeah, there were huge pieces of glass just swinging open whenever the wind blew. And there was one big chunk of glass that just fell onto our carpet. There were a few pieces here and there on the ground.

After we patched up the glass to keep it from swinging we kinda went cycling. Lol for a short bit.

So yeah. That's what it looks like patched up. And the chunk that came off is at the bottom right corner.

Got this in an e-mail. I hate forwarding e-mails, so I thought I'd just share it this way. Its awesome.

A man from Norfolk , VA called a local radio station to share this on Sept 11th, 2003, TWO YEARS AFTER THE TRAGEDIES OF 9/11/2001.

His name was Robert Matthews. These are his words:

A few weeks before Sept. 11th, my wife and I found out we were going to have our first child. She planned a trip out to California to visit her sister. On our way to the airport, we prayed that God would grant my wife a safe trip and be with her. Shortly after I said 'amen,' we both
heard a loud pop and the car shook violently. We had blown out a tire. I replaced the tire as quickly as I could, but we still missed her flight. both very upset, we drove home.

I received a call from my father who was retired NYFD. He asked what my wife's flight number was, but I explained that we missed the flight.

My father informed me that her flight was the one that crashed into the southern tower. I was too shocked to speak. My father also had more news for me; he was going to help. 'This is not something I can't just sit by for; I have to do something.'

I was concerned for his safety, of course, but more because he had never given his life to Christ. After a brief debate, I knew his mind was made up. Before he got off of the phone, he said, 'take good care of my grandchild.. Those were the last words I ever heard my father say; he died while helping in the rescue effort.

My joy that my prayer of safety for my wife had been answered quickly became ang er. I was angry at God, at my father, and at myself. I had gone for nearly two years blaming God for taking my father away. My son would never know his grandfather, my father had never accepted Christ, and I never got to say good-bye.

Then something happened. About two months ago, I was sitting at home with my wife and my son, when there was a knock on the door. I looked at my wife, but I could tell she wasn't expecting anyone. I opened the door to a couple with a small child.

The man looked at me and asked if my father's name was Jake Matthews. I told him it was. He quickly grabbed my hand and said, 'I never got the chance to meet your father, but it is an honor to meet his son.'

He explained to me that his wife had worked in the World Trade Center and had been caught inside after the attack. She was pregnant and had been caught under debris. He then explained that my father had been the one to find his wife and free her. My eyes welled up with tears as I thought of my father giving his life for people like this. He then said, 'there is something else you need to know.'

His wife then told me that as my father worked to free her, she talked to him and led him to Christ. I began sobbing at the news.

Now I know that when I get to Heaven, my father will be standing beside Jesus to welcome me, and that this family would be able to thank him themselves .

When their baby boy was born, they named him Jacob Matthew, in honor of the man who gave his life so that a mother and baby could live.

This story should help us to realize this: God is always in control.

We may not see the reason behind things, and we may never know this side of heaven, but God is ALWAYS in control.

Exams (oh goodie)

Snicker. So ya! Another Vitas! Hee. Those hats just never go out of style.

Saturday, June 13, 2009

I just can't seem to stop scaring my housemates. Lol! Seriously! That's what you get when your housemates keep watching horror movies. So whenever I pop out from a corner or they turn around and find me standing behind they get a fright. I didn't do anything!! T_T You can imagine the look on my face when they get startled and squeal.

Vitas

Okay, when Simon asked me if I had heard Vitas sing before, I said no. So he let me watch. And WOOAAAHHH!! I was wowed. Seriously!! But it really was rather creepy and haunting at the same time. Cos we watched it at night. Haha. Initially it sounded pretty frenchy, and it kinda reminded me of Professor Layton, until the vocals came in.

Saturday, June 6, 2009

I had goosebumps at the first and felt like crying at the second. The embedding was disabled . . .so ya. =/ Anyway! I'll probably watch it like, at night, when everybody else is sleeping. And after I've locked my door.
