On the 22nd of March, the big guy up there decided that Perth would have a magnificent thunderstorm! (Hail included) When it first started to rain, everybody was filled with delight! And then delight gave way to horror when the rain began to pelt down in sheets, thunder and lightning following in its wake! BOOOMMM. And then the hail came.
Okay. All drama aside, here are the photos taken across Perth =p They're not in order. Sunset pictures are the after, and the ugly floody/rainy/hail-y pictures are the before.
This is UWA's library. After the glass broke the water just flooded in, ruining tons of education, fine arts, and architecture books. BIG SIGH.

It was insane. We had power outage from 5.30 to 12.30. Which wasn't too bad I reckon. We survived on bak kut teh and three flashlights. Mmm hmm. I didn't actually get to see the hail, since it wasn't on our side. It was supposed to be 30 degrees that day. And yes. The sunsets really are this pretty. Muaha.
