Discover Perth Tour

Last Saturday I went for a Perth tour =D. We went to the Sandalford Winery (free tasting included), the Margaret River Chocolate Factory (free choc tasting included), the Kaversham wildlife park, AQWA and Hilarys Boat Harbour.

These are the pics of the winery =D It was a pretty big estate. And we didn't get much time to look around. There were seven types of wines up for free tasting. But meh. I'm not a wine person =/ Sadly I suppose. But! I did enjoy the cheese and crackers =D. Sigh. I should've taken more =.= I only took one. Meh.

HELLOOO CHOCOLATE FACTORY! This is the outside. I'm not really a choc person either =/ But I bought some for the mummy and the brother. Oh and the father.

On a side note. Their homemade rum and raisin ice cream is really yum =D tons of raisins.

Those two lucky people inside won a prize =D so they got to go in and see/participate in the chocolate making process, while the rest of us plastered our faces to the glass, mouths drooling, tummies grumbling.

I forgot the name of this lizard. It was in the wildlife park. And can be found all around Curtin University apparently. They're rather fairly sized.
The big blob in the center is a sleeping wombat. They can run up to ... 40km per hour. (faster than us) and this one weighs 28kg.

Anddd I didn't take pics of Hilarys boat harbour. Cos I've been there quite a few times before. =] But yeah. That was more or less it! =D Cheers.

I need to go out and get myself their new album. Sigh. I wanna attend their concert. =/ My fav band =D. And the ultimate feel good music for me.

Also! Now I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms after finishing Pushing Daisies. BIG sigh.

The second week of orientation has started. And school will start in the next. Ohh man. =.= Now I'm having doubts about doing the course I'm doing. Maybe I should've just taken up law.

The head of Design and Art gave us a welcome speech (of sorts) today. And he was talking about how well Curtin graduates did, and all the awards they'd won, going out into the international field and kicking butt. Then he went to speak of a proverbial scythe that would cleave through the wannabe's and the actual people who would make it/do well in the field.

Oh dear God, don't let me wind up in the wannabe section @_@ I am so scared. D-a-u-n-t-i-n-g.

Sigh. I am now suffering from Fringe withdrawal symptoms. BIG sigh (and some sniffling)
